MISSION STATEMENT The mission of Hopkins County Environmental Quality is to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of present and future generations of our citizens. Hopkins County Environmental Quality strives to protect our county's human and natural resources consistent with sustainable economic development.

VISION STATEMENT The vision of Hopkins County Environmental Quality is to eliminate the effects of unintended consequences of historic development, to prevent new adverse environmental impacts and to provide significant input into decision making, all the while enhancing both the environment and the economy of Hopkins County

GOALS Administer and promote within the county system, effective rules and efficient regulatory processes Produce standardized, effective, timely and enforceable permits Provide help to business and citizens on issues with our mission Provide a responsive, equitable and timely environmental complaints process and emergency response system Provide consistent inspection, monitoring and enforcement within the bounds of our statutory jurisdiction.
